It was my great pleasure to be a judge on the panel for this year's Best First Novel Award - some outstanding work by brilliant writers... Glorious Exploits was a very deserving winner. Congratulations to all who reached the Short List, and particularly to Ferdia Lennon - the prize was adjudicated by Tracy Chevalier, who chose Glorious Exploits - a perfect choice!
